Civil Engineer

Manage, design, develop, create and maintain construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner. • Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other). • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications. • Assess potential risks, materials and costs. • Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies. • Monitor progress and compile reports in project status. • Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials. • Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc. and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required. • Analyzing operational problems and developing solutions for issues. • Evaluating the safety of structures to determine if they need repair or reconstruction. • Evaluating the efficiency of existing systems and developing plans for improvement based on their findings. • Supervising the construction process to ensure that the project meets the set budget and timeline requirements. • Uses design software and drawing tools to accurately render and communicate designs. • Estimates materials, equipment, and labor needed to determine project costs. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
