Job Responsibilities
- You will maintain and update employee records, including tax information, direct deposit details, and benefit deductions, and address any discrepancies or issues that arise during payroll processing.
- Collaborating closely with the HR department, the Payroll Officer will contribute to the implementation of payroll-related policies and procedures, and provide comprehensive assistance in resolving any queries or concerns related to payroll from employees.
- Remaining up to date with any revisions in tax and labor regulations that could affect payroll procedures, and guaranteeing that payroll systems and practices consistently adhere to the latest legal requirements, represents a crucial duty of the Payroll Officer.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of employee payments, including salaries, bonuses, incentives, and withholdings, the Payroll Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with company policies and legal mandates.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant labor laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, with the ability to stay updated on evolving industry standards to ensure the accurate and lawful execution of payroll functions.
- Impeccable attention to detail and precision, guaranteeing that every payroll detail is meticulously processed, comprehensively examined, and precisely documented according to company protocols and regulatory standards.
- Experienced in leveraging multiple payroll software tools, showcasing in-depth understanding of payroll procedures, encompassing precise data input, accurate wage computations, and meticulous management of tax deductions.
- Proficient analytical capabilities for deciphering intricate data, spotting inconsistencies, and adeptly resolving payroll-related concerns, alongside the ability to produce detailed reports for management review.
