SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE… Portworx is an industry-leading data management platform for Kubernetes. We are seeking a Portworx Solutions Architect to join our expanding Professional Services business. As a Solutions Architect, you will utilize your strong technical competencies to deliver complex Portworx and Kubernetes-based solutions. Preferred candidates will have hands-on experience in a production Kubernetes environment, building and operating containerized solutions. A mastery of containerization and a strong understanding of DevOps practices are essential. You must also understand the cloud-native technology landscape and have hands-on expertise in Kubernetes environments. This is a proactive, engaging, customer-focused, problem-solving position where you will tackle cutting-edge technical challenges in a demanding, fast-paced environment. You should be organized, attentive to detail, and ready to grow with our business. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Understand prospect’s technical needs related to their Kubernetes deployments.
Design, install, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
Develop Kubernetes-based solutions using CI/CD Tools (Pipelines, GitOps, Jenkins), Configuration Management/Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
Lead the API/Micro-Services solution deployment and day-2 operations.
Support and manage customer environments.
Work with Portworx Product Engineering on cutting-edge solutions.
Collaborate with Portworx Support teams to provide excellent customer experience.

You will be based in Riyadh and are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week as outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE

In-depth experience deploying and troubleshooting Kubernetes environments.
Familiarity with other container orchestration platforms.
Linux system administration experience (RHEL, SLES, Debian, Ubuntu).
Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).
Storage (NFS, Block, iSCSI).
Experience in troubleshooting complex environments.
Proficiency with Kubernetes and orchestrators like OpenShift, Rancher, and Mirantis.
Understanding of open-source databases and modern data platform technologies.
CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Airflow, Argo).
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent experience.
Automation experience: Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform.
Ability to travel (international and domestic) up to 50% for customer meetings and critical engagements.
Business fluent in English and Arabic.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS THAT WOULD BE BENEFICIAL

Scripting skills (bash, python, ruby).
Certified Kubernetes Administrator qualification or equivalent experience.
Virtualization technologies (KVM, VMWare).
Version control systems (git, svn).
Monitoring & Logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
Security (SSL / TLS, Kubernetes Secrets, RBAC).
Experience with OpenStorage SDK REST and gRPC interfaces.
Expertise in Cloud IaaS environments such as VMware, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with HA deployments for modern scale-out databases and data processing solutions like Cassandra, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Elasticsearch.
