Key Leadership Role: Managing Director of Bahrain

Talabat, the leading food and Q-commerce marketplace in Bahrain, delivers food, groceries, and more to thousands of customers every day. We are seeking a highly skilled Managing Director of Bahrain to drive organisational performance and simplify our operating model. This will enable us to maximise synergies between functions and verticals, enhancing business growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create an efficient operating model that seamlessly integrates all business verticals (food & Q-commerce)
• Foster a culture of growth by maximising synergies across teams, programs, and verticals
• Establish quarterly objectives and priorities for the Bahrain team
• Serve as the key customer advocate for the Product and Technology organisation, collaborating to set priorities and resolve problems

Compensation:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year

Requirements:

• Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence and implementing core strategies that impact both revenue and profitability, preferably in leadership positions
• Experience in identifying problems and designing solutions for dynamic and fast-paced businesses
• Passion for work and ability to navigate complex systems daily to deliver business results
• Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, with a focus on unlocking new growth avenues for Talabat, such as expanding our food business, scaling our Q-commerce business, or growing our ecosystem products
• Strong people leadership skills, including experience in leading and building high-performing teams and cultures
