Within our platform we have several squads maintaining and supporting our Core Banking services. </p><h3> About the role: </h3><p> We are seeking a technical lead with specialised experience in Core Banking to be part of our team creating APIs to integrate our Core Banking platform with the rest of the bank&#39;s systems. </p><p> You will be maintaining our legacy applications and APIs while ensuring the platform is enhanced and designed to be future-fit-ready and aligned with the needs of our Transformation journey. </p><h3> Key Responsibilities: </h3><h3> Design and Technical Accountability </h3><ul><li> Help deliver enterprise-scale programmes of work, all the way to production, helping manage technical risks and impediments. </li><li> Provide guidance and thought leadership across the squads, facilitating effective and innovative design solutions. </li><li> Oversee design aspects to ensure a cohesive integration of new technologies and methodologies within existing systems and alignment to our Transformation journey. </li></ul><h3> Technical Expertise in Core Banking </h3><ul><li> Demonstrate technical knowledge in Core Banking technologies, including but not limited to COBOL-74, BL/Source, WFL, API integration. </li><li> Design, develop and maintain secure, robust solutions focusing on system scalability, reliability and optimal performance. </li><li> Ability to consider the critical nature of roles, permissions and claims in the API landscape. </li><li> Provide guidance on design and implementation of enterprise integration patterns - across legacy and modern application stacks like the Azure ecosystem. </li><li> Provide technical expertise and knowledge to support solution delivery based on a solid understanding of key environments in which ASB&#39;s software is deployed and used. </li><li> Understand decisions around what features should be built in line with the needs of the customer.
