Looking for Environmental Specialist who will assist the HSE Manager in delivering and implementing the AQPCI company and Operational Environmental Management Plan, and environmental policies and directives within all site operations.Responsibilities:Carry out environmental activities and monitor the implementation of the operational environmental management plan.Monitor the implementation of the company's Operational Environmental Management Plan, environmental policy, and practices through inspections and environmental awareness campaigns.Perform regular environmental inspections and advise on corrective and improvement actions, raise anomalies, issue reports, and monitor improvement action follow-up.Supervision of all aspects of pollution control, waste management, environmental health, and renewable sustainable energy.Perform environmental risk management for all operations that can lead to environmental impact and maintain records of all environmental documentation while ensuring compliance with MAPROL regulations, International, National, and Local Government environmental legislation, and ISO 14001:2015 standards.Ensure all incidents, unsafe observations, and environmental anomalies are reported promptly and preliminary investigations carried out.Report daily summary activity to the HSE Manager.Compile all daily/weekly reports and submit them to the HSE Manager.Monitor the proper segregation of waste streams, evacuation, and tracking to the point of disposal following the Operational Environmental Management Plan, Waste Management Plan, and environmental standards and legislation.Carry out environmental monitoring for air, noise, water, and light and report all impacts to identify controls and areas for continuous improvement to mitigate any impact on the environment.Carry out data analysis of sites and plant operations to capture data for Greenhouse Gas emissions and report to the HSE Manager.Oversee the third-party contractors' compliance with company's environmental requirements and standards.Ensure promoting and raising awareness at all levels of the company through HSSE toolbox meetings on the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical, and social responsibility.Assist in carrying out environmental education and research to ensure sustainable development.Carry out any other duties as directed by the manager.Requirements:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science/Management/Engineering or related fields.- Master's degree is preferred.- Experience: 3-7 years as Environmental Engineer/Specialist in Construction and/or oil field operations.- Languages: Fluency in English.Skills:
