Job Overview: We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Cohesion & Teambuilding Manager to lead the development and execution of recreational & adventure-related cohesion and team-building programmes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue, managing operations, designing unique experiences, and ensuring seamless delivery. You will lead a dedicated team, foster client relationships, and play a key role in enhancing our offerings to meet market demands. Key Responsibilities: Programme Development & Conceptualization Design, plan, and implement innovative cohesion and team building activities and programmes tailored for NSMen units / divisions, government agencies, corporate groups, and special events. Stay up-to-date with industry trends to continuously refresh and enhance offerings, ensuring a mix of fun, educational, and goal-oriented activities. Client Relationship & Account Management Lead the team in serving as the main point of contact for clients, from initial inquiry, programme execution and post-event follow-up, ensuring a high standard of service and client satisfaction. Oversee account management for contracted clients, including adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), contract renewals, amendments, and regular performance reporting. Proactively source and secure new clients, expanding the customer base through targeted outreach and relationship building. Revenue Growth & Sales Develop and execute strategies to increase sales and maximize revenue from team building activities and corporate programmes. Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to drive repeat business and referrals. Monitor financial performance, set revenue targets, and prepare regular sales reports for management review. Budgeting & Reporting Prepare and manage the annual budget for the team building department, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency. Track key performance metrics, including participation rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation. Provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting performance, trends, and areas for improvement. Operations & Logistics Management Oversee the daily operations of programmes & business activities, ensuring efficient use of facilities and resources. Implement and maintain safety standards for all activities, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Staff Management & Training Lead, train, and motivate a team of facilitators and support staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional programmes. Develop a comprehensive training plan to upskill staff, focusing on facilitation techniques, customer service, and safety protocols. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Sports & Recreation, Psychology, or a related field or minimum 5 years of experience in team building, corporate training, or experiential learning, with 2 years in a managerial role. Demonstrated success in developing and delivering impactful team building programmes, with a proven ability to drive revenue growth. Strong leadership skills with experience in recruiting, training, and managing facilitators and support staff. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills. Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
