Job Description

Engineering Degree Overall automation systems understanding, combined with process knowledge in one of: Oil & Gas, Power & Water sectors. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role and experience in the automation area. Key Qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of ABB systems eg: 800xA with AC 800M & IEC 61850, etc.
  2. Knowledge of Industrial Cyber security and networking solutions for control systems.
  3. Experience with Onshore and/or Offshore Oil and Gas customers like ADNOC and/or Power & Water sector experience.
  4. Good hands-on experience in ABB 800xA with AC 800M & IEC 61850, and/or other systems like Network Manager.
  5. Good knowledge and/or expertise in ABB PPM (Process Power Manager) Library with Load Shedding and Load Sharing applications.
  6. Proficiency in interface configuration using different protocols like IEC 61850, IEC 101, IEC 104, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc. between PMS/SCMS/LDC/Electrical SCADA systems and third-party systems or field devices.
  7. Fluency in English language.
  8. Knowledge on MicroSCADA systems will be an advantage.
