About VAP Group: We are a global Blockchain, AI and Crypto consulting firm with multiple solutions for our clients including Marketing & PR, Media House, Staffing & Recruitment, Events among others. The Global Games Show is a launch event under the VAP Group umbrella. As a Global Games Show Sponsorship Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure sponsorships for our blockchain-related events. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to identify potential sponsors, negotiate sponsorship agreements, and ensure successful execution of sponsored events. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the blockchain industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of securing sponsorships for events. Key Responsibilities: In addition to getting in as many sponsorship deals and driving booth sales, the responsibilities will include - Sponsorship Strategy:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship strategy for blockchain events, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Identify and prioritize potential sponsors based on their relevance to the blockchain industry and target audience.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential sponsors, industry partners, and key stakeholders in the blockchain community.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand the needs and goals of sponsors, ensuring alignment with event objectives.
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals outlining the benefits and value proposition for potential sponsors.
- Customize proposals to meet the specific needs and preferences of individual sponsors.
- Negotiate sponsorship terms, pricing, and deliverables with potential sponsors.
- Draft and finalize sponsorship agreements, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution of sponsored events.
- Coordinate with sponsors to fulfill their obligations and maximise their visibility and engagement during events.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for sponsorship success and track metrics related to sponsorship ROI.
- Provide regular reports and updates to management on sponsorship activities and outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sponsorship sales or partnership management, preferably in the blockchain industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the blockchain industry and its key players.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sponsorship targets.
- Willingness to travel as needed for industry events and conferences.
- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours during events.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology, trends, and market dynamics.
