Job Location:Doha, QatarJob Title:Substation Automation EngineerNotice Period:Immediate to 30 daysKey Responsibilities:Design & Implementation: Develop and implement automation solutions for substations, including control systems, monitoring systems, and communication networks.System Integration: Integrate substation automation systems with existing infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and data flow.Configuration & Programming: Configure and program automation hardware and software, including RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices), and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).Testing & Validation: Perform thorough testing and validation of automation systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.Maintenance & Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for automation systems, troubleshooting and resolving issues to ensure optimal performance.Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of system designs, configurations, and operational procedures.Collaboration: Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with client requirements.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
