Job description
Technical Support Job Purpose Statement:
The Technical Support will be responsible in the implementation, maintenance and support of various IT-Systems which requires remote and on-site installation & support. The Technical Support should analyze and observe the proper procedure in resolving procedural & technical issues. The Support should evaluate and make necessary recommendations for the improvement of systems, hardware and network design, quality, performance which based on the frequency of issues and internal customer’s feedback.
Job Description:
- Provides Level-1 and Level-2 support to all system users in accordance with established processes.
- Ensure the proper recording, documentation of IT-Issues and requisitions.
- Install, configure, maintain, diagnose, rectify and troubleshoot computer systems, network, hardware, software and peripherals.
- Performs preventive maintenance on computers and other equipment’s and peripherals
- Manages the IT-Assets Inventory for both Hardware & Software Licenses.
- Coordinates with Vendors and 3rd party service provides for Level 3 issues.
- Participates in process improvement and IT-Projects.
Job Qualification
- Graduate of Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- With working experience in the installation & troubleshooting of the following:
– Windows, Android & iOS Operating System
– Knowledgeable in Desktop and Mobile Hardware
– Wired & Wireless Network
– Network Security, Firewall, VPN, User’s Internet & Network Access
– Printers, PABX, Telephone System, Biometrics, CCTV and other peripherals
– Office 365, Email & other business applications
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to work on flexible schedules, holidays and week-ends
- Willing to travel for project implementation and on-site support.
- With good communication and writing skills.
- Willing to be assigned in Alabang Muntinlupa.
