A Tier 1 Main Building Contractor has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Planning Manager with over 10 years of experience to be based in the Dublin area. The successful candidate will lead the planning function on major residential or data centre projects. The role requires expertise in creating and managing complex project schedules from inception to completion, collaborating closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineering, design, construction management, and commissioning. Responsibilities: Develop new project plans and schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines Manage and monitor project schedules and control tools, identifying and reporting key milestones Conduct interactive planning workshops to facilitate team alignment Analyse project critical paths, providing regular updates on schedule performance to the project management team Deliver insights during constructability reviews, helping to optimize project schedules Determine and communicate resource requirements to achieve project objectives Identify variances, provide regular performance updates, and recommend corrective actions as necessary Requirements: 10+ years of experience in a similar planning role with a main contractor in Ireland or the UK Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Effective time management abilities Proactive self-starter with a strong commitment to quality and project success Compensation Package: Competitive salary: €100k - €110k Industry-leading benefits package Company vehicle or travel allowance If you are a Planning Manager considering a career move, please send your CV or contact Declan Hasson for a confidential discussion.
