Our client would like you to join their Team as a Dynamic Audit Supervisor.Are you ready to take your audit career to the next level? A thriving medium-sized audit firm in East London is seeking a skilled and motivated Audit Supervisor to lead our commercial audit division. As an Audit Supervisor with us, you will play a pivotal role in managing audit engagements, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the highest quality of work. If you're enthusiastic about auditing, excel in team leadership, and are committed to delivering exceptional client service, we want you on our team.Roles and Responsibilities:Comprehensive Audit Oversight: Take charge of all aspects of audit engagements, including meticulous planning, efficient execution of field work, and the preparation of comprehensive reports. Communicate findings to both the Audit Manager and Partner.Work Paper Review: Conduct meticulous reviews of audit work papers on engagements, ensuring accuracy, adherence to professional standards, and consistency across engagements.Document Excellence: Produce meticulously crafted documents, reports, and engagement files, reflecting the firm's commitment to professionalism and precision.Financial Statement Mastery: Prepare Annual Financial Statements in strict accordance with IFRS for SMEs, demonstrating your expertise in financial reporting.Team Leadership: Provide daily supervision to audit staff and teams, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment that promotes growth and excellence.Mentorship and Coaching: Develop and coach audit staff, actively participating in their professional growth journey. Complete performance reviews to guide their development effectively.Client Relations: Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, understanding their needs, and addressing any concerns or inquiries that may arise.Insightful Management Reports: Prepare insightful management reports that offer strategic insights based on audit findings, assisting clients in making informed decisions.Timely Progress Updates: Keep progress reports updated and accurate, providing clear visibility into the status of ongoing engagements.Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and adhere to audit budgets for engagements, ensuring efficiency and effective resource utilization.SAICA EAT System: Conduct trainee assessments using the SAICA EAT system, contributing to the professional development of future auditors.Additional Contributions: Undertake ancillary duties as required, showcasing your adaptability and commitment to contributing to the firm's success.Skills and Qualifications:MatricSAICA accredited undergraduate degreeCompleted SAICA articlesEssential commercial audit experienceAdvantageous Caseware experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteJoin our dynamic team and make a significant impact in the world of auditing.
