Senior Cost Engineer

Our client, a global consultancy, is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Cost Engineer for a major infrastructure project based in the Gulf region.The ideal candidate will be responsible for reporting to the Cost Manager on estimating and budgeting of the major infrastructure projects, coordinating the estimating function within the programme, preparation of cost estimates for Design, Construction and Supervision Consultants, reviewing plans and procedures, contract award recommendation reports, estimating of value engineering options and lifecycle costs, and coordination with package managers, consultants, and contractors. Additionally, the candidate will prepare the Estimating database and project estimate detailing manpower curves and material curves.Language RequirementsEnglish - Fluent / ExcellentArabic - Fluent / ExcellentJob SkillsYou will have:- Degree qualified in a related discipline- Membership of a recognised International Professional Body (e.g., MRICS)- 10+ years post-graduate experience in all commercial aspects of major infrastructure projects including highways, roads, bridges, tunnelling, and utilities.- Working knowledge of Cost Estimating Software, Timberline, CSS.- Fluent in English, written and spoken.In return, our client is offering a competitive tax-free salary.
