FRAMECAD is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Quality Lead to join our team based in Auckland, New Zealand.

Our New Zealand production and R&D facilities currently produce roll forming equipment and control systems which are exported across the globe. This equipment is low volume, high value and assembled using common and custom parts from several suppliers by our skilled team of electrical and mechanical technicians. The quality manager oversees this work, including the contribution from SME’s within R&D, ensuring that best practice standards are reached or exceeded and our reputation as a quality, premium brand is protected. You will design, implement and improve our quality systems to futureproof our manufacturing while using your collaborative and functional leadership style to grow a Quality Mindset and embed this within our culture.What we are looking for
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key stakeholders to obtain constructive feedback. You will have an eye for detail and understand the importance of consistency and managing the transition from current operational norms into future best practice.Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in manufacturing
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing certifications preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.), statistical process control (SPC), and regulatory standards.
- Fundamental understanding of manufacturing systems, processes and control.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with diverse teams
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools (e.g., Minitab, SAP, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to embed quality systems and processes to drive business outcomes.
