We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application IT Manager for our Retail Store with extensive experience in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and Retail ERP solutions, with a deep understanding of SAP and API- based integrations.This role requires managing solution infrastructure across multiple chains of stores, ensuring seamless operations and optimal performance.Key Responsibilities:Application Management:o Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT applications, including planning, implementation,maintenance, and support.o Ensure seamless integration of applications across the hyperstore chain, optimizingbusiness processes and enhancing operational efficiency.o Identify opportunities for application enhancements and process improvements todrive business growth and profitability.Vendor Management:o Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors, ensuring timely delivery ofservices and adherence to SLAs.o Negotiate contracts, manage vendor performance, and resolve issues effectively.Infrastructure and Network Planning:o Design and implement robust IT infrastructure and network solutions to supporthyperstore operations.o Ensure optimal network performance and security across all store locations.o Collaborate with store operations to identify technology needs and develop solutionsaccordingly.Business Process Optimization:o Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation anddigital transformation.o Implement technology solutions to streamline operations and improve customerexperience.SAP Integration:o Ensure seamless integration of IT applications with SAP, optimizing data flow andreporting.o Manage SAP-related projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with businessobjectives.Billing and Stock Keeping:o Oversee the development and implementation of efficient billing and stock-keepingsystems.o Ensure accurate and timely billing, inventory management, and reporting.Vendor Portal Management:o Develop and manage a vendor portal to streamline communication and collaborationwith suppliers.o Ensure secure and efficient data exchange with vendors.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT application management for a retailorganization, preferably in the hyperstore sector.Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and networks for multi-locationenvironments.Strong understanding of retail operations, including billing, stock keeping, and supplychain management.In-depth knowledge of SAP and its integration with other retail systems.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills preferred.Preferred Skills:Experience working in the Indian retail industry.Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements.Certifications in ITIL, project management, or other relevant areas.Technical Competencies:Knowledge of SDLCPreferred to have hands on experience with SAP and its integration with variousmodulesShould possess good understanding of application architecture and also technologystacks being used for web and mobile developmentKnowledge of API design, development and delivery is preferable.
