Client - Global Investment BankDesignation - Executive DirectorDivision - Global Data OfficeRole - Data Governance, Control and Quality Assurance.The Global Data Office is the Central Data and Analytics arm of the firm that works closely with the Group Businesses and Group Corporate functions of the firm, to enable the execution critical business strategy through Robust Data Standards & Governance, Actionable Performance Metrics & MIS, and High Impact Information and Analytics Products and Solution. The key aspect of the role will be to Lead the Data Governance Operations for the Global Data office.Job Responsibilities:Data Governance Implementation in alignment Enterprise Data Governance standards and frameworkOnboard, monitor and enforce data quality management using enterprise data quality platform.Onboard, monitor and enforce metadata management using enterprise metadata platform.Monitor data quality exceptions and drive data quality issue remediation in alignment to Stewardship Operation Model.Monitor, Report Enterprise data risk thru effective monitoring, enforcement, and issue escalations thru forums.Perform periodic assessment, certification of data governance assets; DSLA, KSMM/ CBP DQ rules etc.Advance Data Governance Operations Global Hub capabilities thru continuous feedback and intervention.Enable 1st Line of Defence Data Stewardship thru systematic trainings and oversight support.Enable Agile team delivery; establish global hub operations KPI/Metrics and drive effective delivery execution.Business Management support including strategy development, operational planning and financial management. Drive group capability thru leveraging Industry connects, best practices and techniquesQualification & Core Skills requirement:20+ years of Data Management experience encompassing data management lifecycle.Techno-functional background with hands-on expertise with enterprise data governance implementation.Must have hands on experience on Data Quality and Metadata Management implementation, exposure to industry leading products such as Alation / Collibra, Informatica Data Quality Management or similar.Exposure to Cloud Data Governance.Ability to lead complex programs, stakeholder management at global scale.Must have experience in Scrum Agile team, preferred Scrum master with relevant tooling exposure.Must have strong program management experience supported with good communication skills.Must have business analysis skills - delivered data solutions; analytical use-cases for stakeholders.Preferred experience in Financial Services and other consumer centric businessPreferred MBA or PMP certification with minimum of 20+ years of relevant project management experience.We would be keen on exploring and discussing this opportunity with candidates specifically from the BSFI space, having had exposure to handling and working with Financial Data / Non Financial Data. Enterprise Data Management & Governance experience with managing Metadata and Cloud Data management would be ideal. This is not a Data Engineering role.
