Head of QC (Analytical Laboratory)

Team Size: ~60 (6 direct reports)Duration: 6 months (maternity leave)Job Description:As a Head of QC, you are responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of the analytical laboratory in line with cGXP guidelines. You will lead a team of specialists, manage laboratory processes, and ensure optimal performance within budgetary and regulatory frameworks. You play a key role in audits, implementing new methods, and driving continuous process improvement.Key Responsibilities:Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to USP/Ph. Eur./JP and standards. Manage CAPAs, audits, and procedure implementation.Team Leadership: Develop and motivate a skilled team while fostering a culture of quality and collaboration.Operational Management: Ensure timely and accurate analyses, equipment maintenance, and validation processes.Strategy & Collaboration: Translate global objectives into local strategies and work with international teams.Budget & Resources: Optimize resources and propose improvements and investments.Your Profile:HBO+/University degree in Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.At least several years of management experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory.Strong knowledge of cGXP, ICH guidelines, and pharmacopoeia standards.Leadership skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.What We Offer:A challenging leadership role in a dynamic environment.The opportunity to make a significant impact on quality and innovation within a global company.Interested?Apply now and make a difference!
