Job Description :Core purpose of the job:To ensure that all automation equipment is maintained in good order and is of sufficient capacity to meet the demands, in a hi-tech Poultry Processing Plant in Saudi Arabia.ACADEMIC / PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION ESSENTIAL:Bachelor Degree in Electronics / Electrical Disciplines.DESIRABLE:1) Masters Degree in Electronics / Electrical2) HACCP, GMP, SOP Certifications.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL:1) Total of 10+ years, with a minimum of 7 years experience in a managerial role leading a multi-skilled maintenance team in the area of FMCG / Poultry / Food Manufacturing process Engineering.2) Experience in the Poultry Processing Plant / Food Manufacturing or Pharmaceutical Industries is a prerequisite.3) Experience in Siemens PLC & HMI programming and its implementation, including all instrumentation systems connected with poultry processing machinery automation, refrigeration systems, synchronization controls for power generation, SCADA, data logging, control net, Ethernet communication protocols, and establishing FAT / SAT protocols. Experience in calibrating all instrumentation control accessories.DESIRABLE:1) 10 years experience in a managerial role in a Poultry Processing Plant.2) Experience in complete servicing of all electrical and electronic equipment.3) Experience in servicing of motors, transformers, and variable drives.Areas of responsibility (AOR):1) Manage the automation systems of the Poultry Processing Plant to ensure that all systems are available for the planned production times.2) Develop and implement a written preventive maintenance program for all electrical and electronic equipment throughout the site.3) Ensure that all electrical and electronic equipment is maintained, inspected, and serviced at intervals agreed with the Sr. Eng. Manager.4) Advise on the selection of electrical and electronic equipment purchased by the Division, recommending the most suitable options given present requirements and projected future needs.NOTES:1) This is a plant-based single status role/job in Saudi Arabia.
