Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components to meet the specific requirements of our projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems, components, and products based on project requirements and specifications.

Create and review schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings using CAD software.

Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements to propose innovative solutions.

Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with mechanical designs.

Perform simulations and calculations to evaluate the performance and efficiency of electrical systems.

Select appropriate components and materials based on performance, reliability, and cost considerations.

Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and reports.

Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design issues during development and testing phases.

Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.

Proven experience in electrical design, preferably in the development of complex systems or products.

Proficiency in CAD software for schematic design and technical drawings (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium Designer).

Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power electronics, and electromagnetic theory.

Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or PLECS.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical design (e.g., NEC, UL, IEC).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.

Experience with PCB design and layout is a plus.
