Area Sales Manager - Textile Industry

Job Description :Responsibilities:
Manage the assigned customers' portfolio to ensure that sales and collection targets are met as per the plan and/or assigned targets.
Support and assist the Director Sales in preparing the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecasts to support the procurement/supply chain team in arranging the required materials on time.
Deliver the targeted gross margins for the assigned portfolio/territory on a regular basis.
Develop new customers and revive lost customers to ensure continuous growth of the business in the assigned territory.
Liase with the customer services team to ensure prompt and effective customer services for the assigned portfolio/territory.
Regularly provide market intelligence pertaining to competition, market behaviors & industry trends and provide input for developing the appropriate business plans and counter strategies.
Coordinate with the technical services team for timely complaint handling and prompt pre & post-sales support to the customers.
Ensure effective and timely use of the CRM to keep the data & portfolio status updated.
Any other jobs/special assignments/projects assigned by the management or line manager.
Job Specification:
Well versed in English and Urdu (written and verbal).
Should have relevant experience in the textile industry.
Should have sales experience and must know the market trend.
Good product knowledge.
Good presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office.
