- Work closely with team members (Developers, Product Manager and Partners) to develop, test and deliver high quality software products
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Prevent, collect, analyse and track product defects
- Design, develop and execute Automation scripts
- Hands-on Manual investigation and reproduction of functional Backend software issues
- Root cause analysis of existing test script failures
- Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage
- Investigatory testing of unreleased features including defining requirements, behavior and impact
- Documentation and design of candidate test scenarios for the above
- 4-6 years experience in software testing methodologies in Automation testing end to end
- Strong ability to to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Strong ability to handle Backend services such as APIs, Databases, distributed services
- Familiar with Linux and database operation: Mysql, SQLServer, Oracle and test environment construction by CICD, Spring Boot
- Good written programming skill: Python
- Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc
- Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills
- Self-managed, proactive work style
- Able to work independently within a team centric environment
