Dynamic go-getter required to promote a national luxury lodge & hotel group! Secure new business & maintain existing relationships. Scope & General Purpose: To promote the image and services of the company so that maximum growth occurs through gaining new clients and contracts. Required to manage all aspects of sales, including sourcing and securing new business, relationship management, database management, business presentations, workshops, and reports. Essential Requirements:
- Ideally, the candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience with a hotel group and have contacts and relationships with tour operators, travel agents, and production houses.
- Someone who is able to work independently and be target-driven.
- Matric minimum.
- Tertiary education in Sales & Marketing would be advantageous.
- Minimum 5-year sales experience in the Hospitality Industry with a proven track record.
- Previous experience in the Hospitality industry and STO inbound sales essential.
- Excellent communication, customer service & organization skills.
- Ability to conduct presentations and meetings both professionally and with confidence.
- Valid RSA ID and Valid Drivers License.
- Position includes travel.
- Must be available to attend functions after hours.
- Dynamic self-starter with excellent negotiation skills.
- Personality profile to match relevant skills.
- Proficient in English.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with a high level of dedication.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
