Job title: Registered NurseCompany: Woodston Personnel Ltd.Job description: Woodston Personnel have an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse with a client in Qatar.Job Summary: Responsible for providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients and the public about various health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their families at the home or client's physical location setting. Their job involves assessing patients' health problems and needs, developing, and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. Registered Nurse also administers medications and treatments, monitors patients' conditions, and collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. They work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, schools, organizations, offices and community health centres. Additionally, registered nurses may specialize in areas such as paediatrics, geriatrics, oncology, or critical care. Overall, their role is vital in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of individuals across the lifespan.Key Role Accountabilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including physical, psychological, and social factors.Develop and implement nursing care plans based on assessment findings and evidence-based practices. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients' responses to interventions and adjust care plans as necessary.Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.Advocate for patients' rights, preferences, and best interests within the healthcare system.Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records.Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other allied health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and trauma situations.Promote health and wellness through preventive measures such as immunizations, screenings, and health education programs.Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects to enhance the delivery of patient care.Pursue ongoing education and training to maintain licensure and enhance clinical competence.Conduct periodic health assessments and screenings to monitor health status and detect early signs of work-related illnesses or injuries.Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize workload independently.Work with members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for the patient.Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized and function in stressful situations.Adhere to dress code; appearance is professional, neat and clean.Always maintain patient confidentiality.Report to work on time and as scheduled, completing work within designated time.Comply with all organizational policies.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in NursingNLT 2 years clinical experience post qualification in appropriate settingValid UAE professional License as Registered Nurse (MOH)BLS CertificationArabic speaking.Driving license is preferable.Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate programs of care.Able to prioritize and meet deadlines.Self-motivated.Able to communicate effectively verbally and written in English.Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.Expected salary:Location: Doha, QatarJob posting date: Sun, 09 Jun 2024 01:53:32 GMTApply for the job now!
