Be What's Next with us.TheMechanical Engineerwill be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical equipment through quality PM/CM and ensuring the reliability of mechanical systems.Core Responsibilities:Mechanical Operation & Maintenance:Hands-on experience of Operation & Maintenance of mechanical equipment like pumps, gears, conveyors, sifters, dryers, elevators, mills, centrifuges, ID/FD fans, and compressors. Familiarization with maintenance techniques like alignment, balancing, and condition monitoring, IMS/GMP requirements, etc.
Maintenance Activities:Responsible for effective & timely maintenance of the overall mechanical system & allied auxiliaries to assure compliance with all PM & condition-based schedules through SAP, creation & implementation of PM/CM schedules, and introducing smart maintenance techniques/tools for optimizing resource utilization.
Responsible for evaluating critical store items to keep the machines in operation, PR generation, evaluating QEMs for selection of material, and following up on deliveries through the development of a critical machine parts list and regular status updates.
Project Execution Activities:Share new quality ideas, prepare feasibility reports, BOQs, follow up for procurement of material, and ensure safe execution of capex/MOC projects in stipulated time. Contract management will be mandatory.
EHS Responsibilities:Responsible for implementation of EHS standards, carrying out risk assessments, and ensuring a safe working environment for subordinates.
Cost Reduction Initiatives:Identify all cost reduction opportunities in the area of responsibility and mechanical section to ensure efficient operation. Recommend new equipment, methods, and procedures that could considerably reduce labor expenses.
People Development:Communicate and build relationships with stakeholders through a team-based approach to ensure business needs are met with high quality in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Develop a work environment with Engineering & Services department's staff that encourages self-motivation and commitment. Supervise & guide technical direction regarding scheduling & maintenance activities. Follow TNA for workers and peers' development.
Compliance of Company Policies:Responsible for compliance with electrical-related legal requirements of the company.
Qualified candidates will have:Mandatory requirements:Degree B.Sc. (Engg.) Mechanical / Mechatronics
Work experience in Petro-chemical / Fertilizer / Process / Food
3 - 5 Years hands-on experience of operation & maintenance of mechanical trades
English fluency, both written and spoken
Desirable requirements:SAP Maintenance Module, MS Office, AutoCAD
