AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Data Modeler for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Chicago, IL.Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Hybrid.Assignment Duration: 10 Months with possibility of extending.Compensation & Benefits: Compensation is between 75.50 - 81.50 hourly. Benefits include co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k, as well as the option for Paid Time Off (dependent on amount requested).Position Description:Looking for an experienced and versatile Data Analytics Engineer to help them build a Security Master System. In this role, your duties will include system analysis of various applications and databases and translating those to documentation. You may also be required to create high-level acceptance criteria using that documentation. To ensure success as a technical data analyst, you should demonstrate experience performing data analysis to provide insight into the characteristics of those datasets using standard statistical methods and data science concepts.Must Have Skills:Exceptional communication skills toward facilitating the use of new software systems.Knowledge of visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview, etc. would be a plus.Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with a minimum 2 years of relevant Data Analytics experience.Education Requirement:A degree, preferably in Economics, Econometrics, Engineering, Physics, (Applied) Mathematics, Accounting, or Information Systems.Flexible Skills:Theoretical knowledge in SQL including writing stored procedures and data extraction. Manipulation using queries would be a plus.Responsibilities:Analyze several existing systems to document fields and functions. Create detailed functional documentation for those systems.Relate current systems to industry standards to help build a new system.Manage the execution of data analytics projects to drive value and gain insight from information.Analyze and review the use of advanced data analysis techniques that leverage technology to process large volumes of data, and perform complex computations in a scalable, reproducible, and automated manner.Use data analysis to detect patterns leading to more efficient testing and data quality.Perform data analytics to identify and mitigate audit risks and achieve data automation, reconciliation, traceability, lineage, and transparency.Use data analytics to provide actionable, timely, and accurate data to drive business insights around regulatory risk, compliance, operations, and finance.Familiar with data sourcing, data capture, data transformation, and data preparation techniques.Familiarity with Data Binning and K-means Clustering and applying those techniques.Working knowledge of core financial processes and related risks and controls and underlying data structures would be beneficial.About Us:AZAD Technology Partners values diversity - in backgrounds and in experiences.
