Reporting to the Delivery Manager and working closely with the Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading a team of software developers and testers to develop one or more applications in a multi-year roadmap. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the team to deliver new products, features and fixes iteratively using an Agile Scrum approach working with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers and QAsWorking with the architects and other developers, provide technical input to the Product Owner.Act as first point of escalation to ensure impediments are removed and team maintains development velocity and achieves committed sprint goals.Communicate and escalate issues in a clear and timely mannerTeam management including day to day and career development for team membersThis is a hands-on role and will be expected to take an active part in development workMaintain an up-to-date knowledge of existing and emerging technologies relevant to the roleEssential Attributes10+ years of experience in Software development of complex applications. Excellent understanding of design principles and considerations, best practiceTeam Lead experience leading teams using an Agile methodologyC/C++/C# or similar language experienceFamiliarity with build pipeline tools and technologies such as: Jenkins, Gitlab, MSBuildMust be self-motivated but needs to work well in a team environmentExcellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skillsSelf-Starter; willing to learn new technologies, ability to learn fastTeam player; willing to coach junior team members and cooperate on problem solvingDesirable AttributesExperience in Geology domain especially Oil and GasKnowledge of cloud architecture including AWS, Azure, and/or Google CloudUndergraduate degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalentAgile Scrum certificationExperienced in working with remote teams Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
