Milliman is among the world's largest providers of actuarial and related products and services. The firm has consulting practices in healthcare, property & casualty insurance, life insurance and financial services, and employee benefits. Founded in 1947, Milliman is an independent firm with offices in major cities around the globe. This position is for Milliman's office in Saudi Arabia. The candidate would be expected to support consulting work done for clients in the Middle East / GCC regions. Profile: 5+ years of pensions experience Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or any other major with quantitative course work. Associate, or close to associate Key Responsibilities: Provide actuarial advice and consulting advice on employee benefits to multinationals, local companies and government-linked organizations.Experience in local and international pension accounting standards (like IAS19, FAS, etc)Advise clients on matters affecting the funding of their pension schemes, including statutory and reporting figures, retirement plan design, actuarial valuation, retirement and benefits administration.Project Management.Work on proposals and potential work to contribute to the growth of practice in the region. Other general consulting work. Any development work assigned from time to time. Skills: 5+ years experience in benefits and retirement consulting work. Experience of working for the GCC / Middle East market will be an advantage. Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
