Job Benefits Tax-Free income Single-Status contract Fully Furnished Accommodations provided Relocation Allowance Free flights home Generous vacations (54 days) Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing (online degrees/diplomas are not accepted), and Current Nursing (RN) license in the North America, Western Europe, or Australia/New Zealand, and Minimum two years of current experience as a Registered Nurse in the specialty area, working in a mid- to large-sized acute-care hospital in North America, Western Europe, or Australia/New Zealand. Department Information The General Surgery Unit has 34 beds specifically designated to Adult General Surgery including Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, Endocrine, Upper GI, Minimal Invasive, Thoracic Surgery, Lung Transplant, and Trauma patients. The majority of patients have malignant disease requiring complex diagnostic work-up, major complex surgery or treatment follow-up. The Unit also provides clinical rotation to Nursing Interns, Graduates and Students. Frequent Procedures/Services/Functions: A. Management and care of adult patients with Colorectal conditions: Hemicolectomy Abdomino-Perineal Resection Colostomy Peri-anal fistula Ulcerative Colitis & Crohnâs disease (workup) Cancer of the colon and rectum Laparotomy sigmoid colectomy Ileo pouch formation Complex fistulaâs Intestinal obstruction Short Bowel Syndrome Proctocolectomy B. Management and care of adult patients Endocrine conditions : Para and Total Thyroidectomy Bilateral Neck Dissection Tracheostomies C. Management and care of adult patients with General Surgical conditions: Radical/Simple Mastectomy Lumpectomy Axilliary Dissection Gastric Bypass/Banding Sleeve Gastrectomy Adrenalectomy Hernia Repair Breast Reconstruction Laparoscopic Procedures Partial/Total Gastrectomy Ulcer Perforation repairs Cholecystectomy D. Surgical Oncology: HIPEC surgery Thyroidectomy Gastrectomy Esophagectomy E. Thoracic Surgery Lobectomy Thoracotomy Mediastenotomy Pneumonectomy Thoracic conditions Funduplication Oesophagectomy VATS Metastectomy Bronchectomy Hemo/pneumothorax, Pleural Effusion F. Lung Transplant(1-bed) Workup for surgery Post Transplant from ICU G. Central line management H. Continues and intermittent pain management: (PCA and Epidural) I. Management of patients requiring hyperbaric oxygen therapy. J. Infectious Diseases ( 2 negative Pressure Rooms) Hours of operations: 24 hours daily, 7 days a week
