Infrastructure Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Job Overview:We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with a solid foundation in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, certificate management, and network security. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure solutions to support our business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise across cloud services, security practices, and networking fundamentals.Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Develop and manage secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions within cloud and on-premises environments.Cybersecurity: Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access controls, to protect infrastructure from threats.Certificate Management: Oversee the lifecycle of digital certificates, ensuring timely renewal and compliance with organizational and industry standards.Cloud Management: Design, configure, and manage cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including virtual networks, storage, and compute resources, following best practices for cloud security.Network and Firewall Management: Configure and maintain network infrastructure, including firewall policies, VPNs, and routing to ensure secure connectivity.Compliance and Audits: Ensure infrastructure aligns with security and regulatory standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) and prepare systems for regular audits.Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with DevOps, application teams, and security to align infrastructure with business needs. Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures.Required Skills & Experience:Cybersecurity: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including secure infrastructure design, threat monitoring, and vulnerability management.Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and a solid understanding of security within virtualized environments.Certificate Management: Strong experience with digital certificates, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), and SSL/TLS management.Networking: In-depth knowledge of network fundamentals, firewall configuration, VPNs, DNS, and routing.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Python, Rust, Ansible , Chef CloudFormation) for automated infrastructure deployment.Firewall and Access Management: Experience managing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and network security tools.Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards related to IT infrastructure and cybersecurity.Preferred Qualifications:Automation Tools: Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., Python, Bash) for infrastructure management.DevOps Collaboration: Knowledge of CI/CD practices and how to align infrastructure with DevOps workflows.Security Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Azure Certified Security.Why Join Us?Be part of a team focused on secure, modern infrastructure solutions.Influence key architectural decisions in a cloud-centric, security-first environment.Engage in challenging projects that drive the future of our infrastructure and security.
