As we continue to grow, so too does our team. We are looking for the right candidate to take on the role of Project Manager . This is a Full-Time role, based in our Port Macquarie office on the beautiful Hastings River in Port Macquarie, NSW. The Project Manager will oversee and manage a number of projects within the Assets & Services division. This role will include responsibility for costs, schedule, performance requirements, and for ensuring that the project satisfies the requirements of the contract. Key Accountabilities
- Customer relationship management
- General project administration
- Reporting
- Commercial letter writing
- Scheduling, estimation development and review
- Management of small ship builds
- Warranty management
- Spare parts sales
- Formal qualifications in Project Management, or related industry.
- 5-10 Years Project Management Experience in Construction, Maritime or related Industry with contracts up to $50m
- Extensive experience in managing multiple marine and construction projects in parallel, meeting quality, cost and schedule
- Experience managing a large team of people, including subcontractors and suppliers
- Australian Citizenship, with eligibility to hold an Australian NV1 security clearance
- Service-oriented team player with a “make it happen safely” attitude
- Project Management Experience in the maritime domain. Recognition or equivalency at the AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM) level
- Comprehensive knowledge of the maritime regulatory environment including Class.
- Formal training in project management including PMBOK knowledge
- Recognition or equivalency at the Professional Project Manager (PPM) level
- Engineering under-graduate qualification
