Global DLP Analyst

The Global DLP Analyst will be primarily responsible for the daily data security event monitoring and/or maintenance of the enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. The main duties of the person in this role will include proper care and administration of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environment and monitoring and responding to the generated alerts, as well as manually reported data security alerts and notifications.
This position is part of the Global Information Security and Resilience Team.
The Global DLP Analyst will play a key role in maintaining and continuously improving FINCA's data security and protection control, monitoring and incident response framework.
Accountabilities
Administer DLP solution with a focus on configuring policies, alerts, and reporting.
Monitor DLP solution and respond to alerts, incidents, and data breaches generated from the DLP and other technologies related to data leakage/data breach protection.
Provide periodic analysis, reports, and develop recommendations for DLP framework improvements and take part in its further implementation.
Play a key role in the incident response process for data loss/data breaches.
Develop DLP Procedures and instructions, as relevant.
Ensure conformance of DLP setup with applicable security and data privacy policies and regulations.
Work with DLP technology vendors.
Other relevant tasks as assigned.
Job SpecificationQualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as the CISSP, CIPP would be nice to have.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in one or more of the following:
Information Security and Protection concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance.
Data Loss Event and Incident Handling and Response.
Configuring DLP Policies and Rules.
Knowledge and Skills
Profound knowledge of Data Loss Prevention and data breach concepts.
Knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations.
Administration of the DLP tools which includes configuring DLP policies, alerts, and reports.
Proven effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to independently research and solve issues.
Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment.
Excellent teaming skills.
Good social, communication, and technical writing skills.
Ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment.
Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
Strong skills in analysis and problem-solving.
Language Skills
Fluency in English is required.
