- We are leading the sector with the implementation of the Aged Care Onsite Pharmacist measure. We presently have 60 ACOP client facilities with a presence in all States and Territories.
- Being the only clinical pharmacist group that is privately funded by industry to deliver community medication management services . We have been engaged by several large home care, disability care, and primary health clinics to deliver our clinical support.
- Our team also serve as Credentialed Pharmacist Trainers and deliver Nationally Recognised Training via our own Registered Training Organisations.
- Being at the forefront of research and evidence-based practice to inform the onsite pharmacist measure and future expanding roles for Credentialed Pharmacists .
- Digital health integration and data-interoperability with the sector's leading clinical software vendors and systems.
- Employment of Geriatricians and Nurse Practitioners who work in partnership with our pharmacists.
- Development and delivery of the aged care sector's leading cloud-based QUM, MMR, and Aged Care Onsite Pharmacist system, MediBUDDY .
- Provision of the aged care sector's leading online training portal, the NCA Hub .
- Development and dissemination of the “must have” Aged Care BUDDY health and drug information resource.
- Our person-centred approach to medication reviews and sophisticated QUM systems and resources have resulted in a 35.1% lower rate of chemical restraint use at our client facilities.
- ACOP/MMR Pharmacist credentialed (our affiliated Pharmacy Care Academy will provide your training).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to professionally interact with health care workers and elderly patients.
- An ability/willingness to undertake new and varied tasks under a high degree of independence.
- A passion to learn how to perform at a high level of clinical proficiency and undergo continual professional development (including annual re-credentialing with the Pharmacy Care Academy).
- Good computer and software system skills.
- An ability to work within a high-performance team setting.
- Own vehicle and drivers license with a capacity to perform client visits across multiple sites within an established client catchment allocation.
- Candidates who can support our commitment to our rural and remote clients and assist by being available for a quarterly rural clinical round will be given preference.
