About the Opportunity Join our Infrastructure Services business unit and play a pivotal role in enhancing the Council’s Asset Management System, driving improvements that support evidence-based decision-making and sustainable infrastructure management. You will make an impact by
- Leading internal consultations to embed asset management as a core business activity.
- Developing and delivering key asset management documents, including policies, strategies, and plans.
- Taking the lead in developing the Council’s Asset Plan.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop asset management processes and risk management.
- Analysing asset condition data to forecast funding requirements and renewal programs.
- Proven experience in asset management, particularly within a council or similar environment.
- Expert knowledge in preparing asset management policy, strategy, plans, and other related documents per industry guidelines and accepted best practices.
- Experience with Asset Management Information Systems.
- Tertiary qualification in an appropriate business-related discipline and extensive knowledge and experience in Infrastructure Asset Management.
- Extensive experience across Asset lifecycle planning and renewal, working with large-scale infrastructure and data portfolios.
