Test Analyst ( Mainframe)

PBT is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Analyst to join our team. Position Overview:We are looking for a Test Analyst with at least 5 years of manual testing experience using industry-standard QA processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen attention to detail when preparing test cases and a strong background in back-end testing. Proficiency in SQL is a must, and prior experience in financial services, particularly in investments, is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities:Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans.Conduct rigorous manual testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.Perform thorough back-end testing to validate data integrity and system performance.Utilize strong SQL skills to query databases and validate data accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive testing coverage.Document and report defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.Ensure compliance with industry QA processes and best practices.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of manual testing experience in software quality assurance.Exceptional attention to detail in preparing test cases and executing test plans.Strong back-end testing experience with the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.Proficient in SQL with the ability to write complex queries to verify data integrity.Prior experience in the financial services industry, especially in investments, is a significant advantage.
