Job title: Manager for the QIA Center for Investment and FinancialCompany: Carnegie Mellon UniversityJob description: The QIA Center for Investment and Financial Studies at Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar seeks a highly motivated, hardworking Manager with a Business Administration degree from an accredited university. The candidate is expected to have a strong understanding of business with demonstrated academic excellence in their studies.The position involves supporting the operations of The Center in running Executive Education workshops, which will span all areas of business education. The candidate is expected to provide in-session teaching support to the faculty in preparation for the workshops, as well as providing recitation independent of the instructors. Additionally, the Manager will work with faculty in researching and writing business cases for classroom teaching.Duties:Providing logistical support to organize the executive education workshops.Engaging with various departments at CMUQ to ensure the smooth running of The Center.Working with faculty in designing and creating content for the workshops.Providing teaching support during the workshops both with and independent of the faculty.Conducting research and writing case studies that may be used for classroom teaching.Supporting The Center in conducting outreach activities and speaker sessions.Working with The Center leadership to provide general support for the operations of The Center.Required:Ideally, an overall graduate business degree from an accredited business program is required.The applicant should be comfortable, competent, and efficient in managing and assisting with lectures as well as running teaching sessions independently.Proficiency with Excel is required.Preference will be given to candidates who either have experience in a teaching role or have worked in the business sector.Location: Doha, QatarPosition Type: Staff - Fixed Term (Fixed Term)Full Time/Part time: Part timeMore Information: Please visit " " to learn more about becoming part of an institution inspiring innovations that change the world.
