Eram Talent is seeking a Specialist, Load Dispatch Center (LDC) SCADA in Saudi Arabia for a prominent client in the energy sector. As a leading Talent Acquisition Consultancy, Eram Talent excels in matching top talents with forward-thinking companies, particularly in the energy and utilities industry. In this role, you will be integral to the design, implementation, and maintenance of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems within the Load Dispatch Center. Your expertise will contribute directly to the reliability and efficiency of power distribution across the grid. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement SCADA systems to support Load Dispatch Center operations
Monitor and analyze real-time data to ensure stable and reliable power grid operations
Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA system issues and challenges promptly
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and enhance operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and cybersecurity protocols
Conduct regular system maintenance and upgrades for optimal performance
Supervise and mentor junior team members, offering guidance and support
Prepare detailed reports and documentation regarding SCADA operations
Stay abreast of the latest advancements and trends in SCADA technology

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
8 years field experience with major utility organizations or SCADA system manufacturers.
In-depth technical knowledge of SCADA systems and associated technologies
Experience in Energy Management System and Historical Information Systems
Experience in large-scale energy projects is highly preferred
Experience in Oracle administration and development tools (Oracle database, forms and reports, PL/SQL, application server and web logic server)
Familiarity with cybersecurity practices related to SCADA systems
Experience in Linux operating systems
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Professional certifications in SCADA systems or related fields are advantageous
