As a result, our people get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive pre-contract experience and a strong background in the real estate sector, with a focus on commercial real estate.You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget while maintaining quality.Key ResponsibilitiesDetailed knowledge of and experience in the Real Estate / Property sector working for a professional cost consultancy.Experience of pre-contract services from feasibility through to tendering, measurement of building works for estimating, report writing and preparation of Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles, professional approach and confidence in presenting to clients, other consultants and project stakeholders.Report writing: Estimate reports, Cost reports, Procurement reports and Tender reports.Key AccountabilitiesEstimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.Production of full Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, preparing preambles and preliminaries, tender queries, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.Where appropriate, leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities.QualificationsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in cost management.Regional experience is a must.In-country (Qatar) experience is preferred.Solid experience in real estate sector and pre-contract management is essential.Knowledge of Cost X is required.Commercial real estate experience is a plus.MRICS qualification is preferred.Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
