What are you going to doThe job holder shall support the application of a robust marine crew, watercraft & contractor vetting, approval and monitoring program to reduce the company s exposure to major marine risk during its operational activity.The job holder shall support effective communication and coordination with all watercraft operators and EPIC contractors providing marine support to Major Projects activity.Working under the Logistics Charter and accountable to the Lead Project Marine, the job holder will be embedded within Major Projects and act as the DOA for the N+1 during periods of annual leave and sickness.Essential skills and knowledgeQualifications:Master Mariner / DPO with DP experience.Fluent in Mandarin.5 years of marine & offshore installation experience with 2+ years at a senior level.Preferred Experience:Broad and extensive knowledge of marine operations in support of offshore oil and gas field development activity.Strong knowledge and understanding of international maritime regulations, standards, and codes.Experienced in delivering and monitoring marine assurance and competency processes.Good knowledge of DP systems, offshore construction operations, DP FMEA trials and standards is desirable.Job-Specific Skills (Generic / Technical):Capable of supporting multiple activities against defined deadlines.Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite of software.Fluent in written and spoken English.Good analytical, organization, coordination and planning skills.Highly proactive with excellent communication and prioritization skills.Ability to work autonomously on own initiative as well as part of a team.
