This includes developing and implementing HR strategies, tactical plans and HR operations that align with the company's overall objectives and goals. In close alignment with the leadership team, you will be managing all related HR work streams from, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and welfare and ensuring compliance with employment laws.ResponsibilitiesOrganizational Design and DevelopmentWork the CEO to suggest recommendations on the structure of the business departments and teams to ensure effective spans and layers that ensure accountability and deliver results.Work with functional leads to consult on teams' structures and establish effective workflows and output.Assess existing business department for deficiencies and / or skills gaps to incorporate into L& D and workforce planning.Regularly review interdepartmental relationships and suggest tactical plans to build cohesive relationships.Talent & Performance ManagementLead, manage and own the performance review cycle including methodology, process, training, and documentation advising on capability development through an OKR framework.Build an internal pipeline of top performers using talent management tools such as the 9-box grid working with leaders to ensure retention of leading talent.Regularly conduct talent calibration exercises with managers and leaders to establish consistent talent benchmarks.Work with leaders on transparent double tier succession planning in close collaboration with leaders and leading talent.Learning and DevelopmentLead, manage and own Tradeling's learning and development program to ensure that the community and business is constantly developing and evolving.Conduct regular sessions with key stakeholders to understand top-down and bottom-up training needs to incorporate into the annual training agenda.Own the training calendar and cost ensuring quarterly training calendars are communicated to the business and community.Lead training sessions on behavioral skills across the business from Values, Management, Feedback, Performance Reviews.Employee Engagement & WelfareDevelop, execute, and measure employee engagement strategies and programs to boost morale and job satisfaction.Create and implement employee recognition and reward programs to acknowledge and celebrate achievements.Own, communicate and embed the Tradeling Leadership Competencies into all HR and business processes/systems.Establish and monitor key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.Own the development, roll out and management of the Your Voice Matters survey and create effective tactical plans to manage key deficit areas.Compensation and BenefitManage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring Tradeling remains competitive as well as being compliant with applicable laws.Oversee employee benefit programs and regularly measure to enhance the overall employee experience.Manage the compensation and benefits program effectively staying on top of competitor offerings and making the data driven recommendations to the CEO.Recruitment & SelectionOversee the Work Force Planning and consequential recruitment Process for the organization, forecasting staffing needs, and tracking key HR metrics like cost per hire and retention rates.Optimize the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent.Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a diverse and equitable workplace.Requirements (Hard Skills)Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field10+ years HR experience with at least 2 years in a senior roleExpertise in policy and procedure design with an excellent understanding of local labor lawsRequirements (Soft Skills)Experience working in a technology / ecommerce company.Exceptional relationship building, senior stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.Strong leadership, people management and communication skillsAbout usEqual Opportunity EmployerPutting our people first while ensuring our culture is grounded in diversity and where integrity is pivotal, will mean we are driving individual and community excellence and ensuring our customers are at the heart of everything that we do!
