Our client based in Cape Town whom is a leader in the Tourism industry is on the lookout for a INBOUND GERMAN SPEAKING CONSULTANT to join the team on a PERMANENT basis. Key Performance area:Having a passion for the travel industryA Minimum of 5 years inbound tour consulting experience requiredAbility to fully communicate in German. (write, speak, read)Experience with working within the German & other European marketsIn depth product and destination knowledge of Southern AfricaAll-rounder, with experience in FIT and ad hoc group quoting and processingExperience with designing itineraries for ADHOC tailormade enquiriesExperience with creating & quoting packages for agent websitesAttention to detailSpecialist advice on destination to agentsQuoting of itineraries and related servicesProcessing of converted quotes to bookings from cradle to graveHandling of an after-hours phone on a rotational basisAbility to work on Microsoft WordAbility to professionally, communicate via e-mail as well as telephonicallyFigures orientatedA team player - thus someone who can receive directive from colleagues when need to achieve a mutual goalEngaging with a myriad of Southern African suppliers to ensure you secure the best product/service coupled with the best possible priceStrong negotiating skills with both suppliers and clientsTake ownership ensuring all elements are taken care of in a professional and organised mannerBe able to build relationships with customer and suppliersConduct themselves professionally and graciously over the phone and emailMust be able to multitask between current & new quotesIn addition, the employee should be able to:Live by our Core Values: honest, creative, positive, and fairFit in with our company cultureA can-do attitude with the ability to be proactive and enthused about their work
