Area Manager South Queensland

Europcar has an exciting full time opportunity for an Area Manager South Queensland to lead a station cluster across South Queensland on a 12 month maximum term contract . The successful candidate will also assist with the management and development of team members, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a top priority. Leadership and strategic thinking will be key to driving success in this role!

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Lead a cluster of stations across South Queensland, aligning with Europcar values and goals
• Foster a customer-first culture at all touchpoints
• Ensure operational excellence and policy adherence, reflected in audit results
• Develop management teams to exceed KPI targets
• End-to-end people management experience
• Collaborate with Fleet to ensure optimal vehicle mix and fleet utilisation
• Promote Europcar service and quality standards to meet expectations
• Continuously review outsourced operations

To be considered for this position you should possess:

• Minimum 3 years senior management experience in multi-site operations or large teams
• Extensive knowledge of car rental or similar retail industries preferred
• Strong leadership and people management for on-site and remote teams
• Customer-first approach with an operations background
• Business acumen to drive statewide revenue growth and profitability
• Analytical skills with experience in financials, wages, and headcount control
• Ability to motivate teams towards shared goals and KPIs
• Resilient, hands-on, and adaptable under pressure
• Experience with cost control and budget management
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility in travelling intrastate and interstate on a regular basis
