Procurement Manager (Entity: OXOC Chemicals Limited)

Job description: Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage project procurement, capex items from India and international market.
• Buyer of raw material & packaging items procurement.
• Handle technical buying.
• Focus on cost-effective sourcing, Imports.
• Vendor development and management process.
• Sound knowledge of business processes and projects related to purchase of chemicals/ engineering items.

• Price per Kg of raw material.
• Bottom line Improvement Year-on-Year.

• Internal: Procurement (Decision on Pricing, Purchase Decision), Logistics, Stores (Inventory control, Dispatches, billing management).
• External: Vendors, Transporters.

• Analytical approach, and excellent planning skills.
• Procurement lead time, Total transport cost as % of delivered sales.
• Import data analysis, Procurement & pricing index strategy.
• Contract procurement, contracts for inbound Logistics.
• Cost of Material per Kg, Cost of raw material Year-on-Year as KPI.
• Vendor contracts review and management, Legal & liaison activities as required.
• Cost-saving proposals.
• Communication skills, negotiation skills, interpersonal skills, project management skills, cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
• Should be experienced with ISO, IATF audits and SOPs and other vendor audit processes.

• Proficient with SAP, Talley, tech savvy, audits, product knowledge (Polymers & additives), MS Office.
