Job Title: Project Director – Industrial & Warehouse Projects Location: [Location] Salary: Up to ₹1 Crore per annum Company: Leading Industrial Warehouse Developer/Fund About the Company: Our client is a top-tier industrial warehouse developer and fund specializing in delivering state-of-the-art industrial and mixed-use projects. They are currently developing a large-scale industrial project of approximately 5 million sq. ft., integrating advanced industrial facilities with modern infrastructure. With a reputation for excellence, they are looking to bring on board a highly experienced Project Director to lead and manage this flagship development. Job Overview: The Project Director will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale mixed-use industrial project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires extensive experience in warehouse construction, managing large-scale developments, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to lead one of the most significant industrial projects in the region. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the development of a 5 million sq. ft. industrial mixed-use project, ensuring smooth execution from concept to completion.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including design, construction, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
- Lead and supervise project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, and consultants.
- Develop and implement project strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project goals.
- Oversee warehouse construction processes, ensuring compliance with industrial standards, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Ensure that project milestones are met by maintaining strict control over schedules, quality benchmarks, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with government authorities, local bodies, and regulatory agencies to secure necessary approvals and ensure all legal requirements are fulfilled.
- Conduct regular site inspections, review progress reports, and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, including cost estimates, timelines, and risk assessments, to senior management and stakeholders.
- Resolve any construction-related issues, from technical challenges to supply chain disruptions, to ensure continuous project progression.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in construction management, with significant experience in large-scale industrial and warehouse projects.
- Proven track record of managing warehouse developments from inception to completion, especially projects of 1 million sq. ft. or more.
- Extensive knowledge of construction methods, warehouse design, and regulatory requirements for industrial projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage diverse project teams and stakeholders.
- Expertise in project management tools, software, and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Previous experience with large-scale industrial or logistics parks, mixed-use developments, and multi-phase projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
