Senior Systems administrator

Job Description

The Senior Systems administrator role is to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions. This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all administration products and associated operating systems and physical servers. The Senior Systems administrator will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments. This individual will also mentor and provide guidance to the technical support staff.  Responsibilities

Cloud Products  Administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and deployment. The below

• MS Office 365 products (Exchange online – Security – Compliance – Teams – OneDrive – SharePoint – Intune – Endpoint protection).
• MS Azure (Entra ID – Security – IAAS – Storage – Networking - Backup).
• Dynamics 365.

Virtualization Environment  Administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and deployment. The below

Backup Environment  Administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and deployment. The below

• Escalated support issues to Vendors.
• Participate in the administration and maintenance of the remote monitoring and management system: update agents, and scripts, respond to alerts, monitor the dashboard, and periodic system review.
• Document maintenance for all system infrastructure.
• Communication with clients as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
• Consistently provide 2nd and 3rd-level support.

Communication as a liaison with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve issues

Job Requirements

• bachelor’s degree in computer Science or computer engineering (preferred).
• 5 to 7 years of System Administration experience. (Is a must).
• Microsoft MCSA, MCSE Messaging, MS-102, AZ-900: Microsoft 365 Mobility and Security (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with most of the above products.
• Good speaking, listening, and writing in the English language.
