Senior BAS Accountant

November 15, 2024 by John O'Donnell As Senior BAS Accountant in the team, you’ll be working closely alongside the Director and other accountants on a range of clients from different industries. Key duties:

1. Preparation of financial statements, tax planning & other compliance duties
2. Managing work flow and ensuring that the jobs are completed within the set budget
3. Managing the relationship and contact with Clients
4. Supporting the Directors & Manager with review work of junior staff.

The ideal candidate

1. Past experience in a local Accounting firm at a heavy intermediate/low senior level and looking to step up
2. Wide range of client portfolio: SMEs, Family trusts, Sole traders
3. Comfortable in preparing a full set of accounts via Xero
4. Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
5. Stakeholder management and ability to communicate directly with clients
6. Ideally CA qualified or midway with being qualified.
