OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Nocturnists to join our employed hospitalist group at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, NY and St Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. The selected candidate will join an established, directly employed, hospital medicine program. Enjoy excellent colleagues, strong system practice support, and a physician-friendly environment. Block scheduling is available but not required. Shifts are 12-hours, 7 on/7 off. We are seeking candidates for the Nocturnist shift (7:00 pm - 7:00 am at Samaritan and 8:00 pm - 8:00 am at St Peter's hospital). This opportunity is not accepting J1 or H1B visa candidates. REQUIREMENTS Applicants should have the following:
- MD/DO
- Interested candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Must be able to obtain a New York State licensure and DEA.
- ACLS/BLS
- Applicants should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team-oriented.
- The base salary is $332,800 per year;
- The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
- Starting Bonus of $40,000 for Nocturnist position only
