We are actively seeking a Financial Controller to join this dynamic team.Job DescriptionThe organization is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Financial Controller to join its sparkling team! In this role, you will ensure that the organization's accounting, financial processes, and reporting are up to standard.The Finance department (7 FTE) operates in a dynamic environment where learning, commitment, business partnering, flexibility, and continuous improvement are key. The team is responsible for driving cost efficiency, managing fiscal and financial processes, supporting business decisions, financial planning, action management, risk mitigation, and maintaining proper corporate governance.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the timely completion of weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and management reporting, aligning with HQ deadlines (one-day close).Monitor performance and profitability against targets, supporting fiscal reporting, compliance, and inventory management.Prepare and manage budgeting and forecasting processes in line with group schedules.Implement SOX controls (no upfront knowledge required, this will be learned) and develop procedures for efficient business management, ensuring reliable information for decision-making.Support the Global Control Standard (GCS) goals by performing process and operational controls, adapting to business changes, and mitigating risks.The Successful ApplicantTo strengthen our dynamic team in the Netherlands, we seek individuals who reflect the unique characteristics of our products: energetic, original, and bold. Someone who embraces change, dares to take calculated risks, and strives to achieve their best.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; CPA is an advantage.Experience in an international environment / organisation.Strong experience with Dutch GAAP.Experience with developing and enhancing systems; Oracle experience is a significant advantage, proficiency in MS Office is required.Strong communication skills.Ability to remain calm under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.Excellent command of English, Dutch is a plus.As this role is based in Tilburg, Netherlands, a valid work permit/VISA is required for non-Dutch candidates.
