Job Description:Senior Contracts ManagerAbu Dhabi, UAEParsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Contracts Manager to join our team! In this role, you will oversee contracts and commercial management for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring strict adherence to contractual terms, and managing risks effectively.What You'll Be Doing:Review, develop, and enforce administrative procedures for effective performance within terms and conditions of the contract.Support project teams in monitoring and controlling the performance of contracted services to ensure services are effective, meet projects and statutory requirements, and deliver the desired outcomes.Develop and implement procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with conditions of the contract.Manage contract lifecycle from inception to completion.Assist in developing and implementing a commercial strategy.Draft contractual correspondence and maintain records necessary to ensure the effective administration of all contractual matters.Administer, review, and settle claims, resolve disputes, and conduct contract change negotiations.Identify recurring/potential recurring claims across projects and provide mitigation strategies.Review, develop, and manage systems and procedures for monitoring contracts and claims to ensure that contractual compliance issues are resolved both timely and effectively.Maintain client relationships, deliver contractual and commercial reports in accordance with client's requirements.Assist the projects team in contract close-out procedures to ensure that all terms and conditions of contracts have been complied with prior to final payment to the contractor.Track project milestones and deliverables.Ensure that all contractual procedures are implemented and maintained.Advise on all contractual matters.What Required Skills You'll Bring:Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Quantity SurveyingMinimum 20 years of related experience in building and infrastructure projects.Working experience with supervision consultants and/or project management consultants.Experience leading a contract/commercial team.Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts.Experience in mega projects will be advantageous.Professional membership or working towards e.g., MRICS/RICS.UAE experience will be an added advantage.Excellent writing, negotiation, and communication skills.Minimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
