Travel Consultant

Job ResponsibilitiesSelling and coordinating transportation, accommodations, tours, and activities.

Provide swift, thorough, friendly, and effective customer service to all customers.

Understand the clients' specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services.

Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.

Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns.

Upgrade regularly on entire airline rules as well as regulations along with air fares and various industry requirements.

Provide travel offers and general travel advice to travelers.

Job SpecificationExperience/Skills:

Min. 2 years working experience as a travel consultant

Hands-on experience of Galileo

Strong sales and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in English

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent knowledge of computer reservation/computer programs

Strong problem-solving skills

Detail-oriented and highly organized

Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
